Every rupee, on the record
স্বচ্ছ হিসেব, প্রকাশ্য খাতা
No payment gateway, so nothing is lost to fees. Pay the committee's account by UPI, tell us about it below, and we match it against the bank statement and send a numbered receipt to your WhatsApp. Your name and amount go on the donation board, open to the committee and signed-in members.
Step one, pay by UPI
Any UPI app works: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or your bank's own. Add your name in the payment note so the treasurer can match it quickly.
- UPI ID
- iiscsdc@sbi
Your app should show the payee as IISC SHARODIYA DURGOTSAB, sometimes with “Committee” after it. If it shows anything else, stop and ask a convenor.
Some apps refuse a payment started from a link. If yours does, copy the UPI ID above and paste it into the app.
Bank transfer instead (NEFT, IMPS)
- Account name
- IISc Sharodiya Durgotsab Committee
- Account number
- 43391254585
- IFSC
- SBIN0040007
- Bank
- State Bank of India, IISc Campus Branch, Bengaluru 560012
The account is operated jointly, so no single committee member can move money alone. Before you send anything, check these details against the ones posted on our Instagram or ask a convenor on WhatsApp. A page telling you it is trustworthy is not evidence that it is, and you should hold any site asking for money to that standard, including this one.
Prefer to give cash? Find a fundraising volunteer at the mess counters, or any committee member at the pandal. They will record it under your name and you will get the same receipt.
Step two, tell us about it
This is how your receipt finds you. Nothing here charges your card; the form only records what you have already sent.
What happens next
- 01The treasurer matches your entry to the bank statement.Usually within a day. A transaction reference makes it immediate.
- 02A numbered receipt is issued.Receipt numbers run in sequence, so gaps would be visible to anyone checking.
- 03It reaches your WhatsApp.A link to your receipt, which you can print or save as PDF.
- 04Your name goes on the board.Everyone who gives is recorded there, by name and amount. The board is open to the committee and signed-in members.
